Alejandro Carrillo is an Associate Attorney at Oasis Legal Group. Originally from Colombia, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad del Rosario, he relocated to the United States to focus on immigration law.

In Colombia, Alejandro gained experience in corporate consulting and later expanded his professional background into human rights work at the Permanent Mission of Colombia to the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, D.C.

Alejandro earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Penn State Law, where he participated in the Center for Immigrants’ Rights Clinic (CIRC). His experience as an immigration legal assistant allowed him to develop a strong knowledge of the preparation and management of immigration cases and applications.

Alejandro is licensed to practice law in New York and Colombia and represents individuals and families in their immigration matters. His previous experience as an immigration legal assistant, combined with his transition to practicing law at Oasis Legal Group, allows him to approach each case with a strategic, detail-oriented approach focused on each client’s needs.

Having personally navigated the U.S. legal system as an international student and professional, Alejandro brings firsthand understanding and genuine empathy to his practice. To him, every case represents much more than a collection of forms—it represents a family’s life project. He is committed to guiding his clients with clarity and providing strong legal representation.
